Recycling Small Beauty Product Bottles as Travel Size For Your Bulky Cosmetic Product

Published June 22, 2012 by Mira

Hey there! This is a continuation of my yesterday’s post. Its about recycling your empty cosmetic product containers. We can buy smaller travel size containers in the market for our liquid or cream cosmetics and toiletries. Why not recycle the empty small cosmetic bottles that you got and make them useful again?…

Here I used the small empty bottle of Sephora Cleasing Water and pealed the label off.

I can now use it for a travel size portion of my L’Occitane Toner.

I also recycled my small empty bottles of Sephora Base Make-up. I used it to contain my travel size amount of foundation, facial wash, and night essence cream. It was very useful when I used them when I went back to Philippines last month.

I hope you liked this money saving tips! Stay pretty! ;)

Recycling Beauty Product’s Bottle

Published June 21, 2012 by Mira

Hey there gals! I am going to share to you a money saving tip for your beauty products. Its about its container. We often buy those spray bottles, pump bottles, and other empty bottles for our liquid beauty products, because we don’t like how the product you bought was packed, so you wanna transfer its contents into another container. Why not recycle the empty container from your previous beauty product?…

20120620-030520.jpg
Here I used the empty Sephora Cleansing Water pump bottle. It is transparent and I like its pumping lid.

20120620-030705.jpg
I pealed the label off. It was quite easy to peal. And I washed it and transferred my nail polish remover contents in it from the bulky bottle of the product. I will label it later.

So that’s just about it. Try to think of how you can recycle other containers too, but make sure that you cleanse the container before you use it for other product. I hope you will find this useful. Have a great day ladies! See yah! :)

Published June 1, 2012 by Mira

Ever wanting to always have that 2 kind of different lipsticks in your pocket on the go? I know the answer for you! The idea of having compact stuff nowadays is so popular. But the idea, comes with a price… I mean the smaller the product is, the more expensive it gets! Woah… Ok, let me tell you, it doesn’t need to be like that. We will use the inexpensive way. Crafting from what is available in hand. Let’s start!

What you will need:
2 lipsticks
1 contactlense case
a spatula or a toothpick
a microwave

Steps:
1. Cleanse and sanitize your contactlense case.

2. Take your 2 fave lipsticks and use the spatula or toothpick to transfer the lipstick into the lense case. Break it into smaller bits.

3. Set your microwave to high and pop your science project inside for aproximately 15 seconds. It should slightly melt already. It doesn’t need to fully melt, as its heat will melt it slowly. Just stirr it with you toothpick and prick any bubbles. Let it cool down and… Voila! You now have your D.I.Y. Compact lip Duo!
