For this month, I love the Sleek lipgloss and the Macadamia oil big toothed comb. I don’t really try all of the stuff in the box, but I save it as give aways to my friends…. I am not wasting anything here…. I am actually making others happy with items that I don’t want… We u know, another man’s trash is another man’s treasure… (Except this is not trash that I’m giving) lol, just for the saying… For those of you guys who wanna get your own surprise box every month, check Bellabox now…

Bellabox: November Issue

Published November 21, 2012 by Mira

Haiya gal pals! I am back again after being away from the radar for almost a month. Wanna know what made me come back? Its the Bellabox! Now in their November Issue. This month’s issue was pretty awesome with that pink mustache neck chain, mini lipstick in brown shade, a facial masque, face moisturizing duo, 100ml shampoo, and hair essence. I love the fact that all that is inside the box was what I wanted (except for the color of the lipstick, I wanted in pink shade). Overall, it was very nice. The shampoo smells so good and not drying the hair. The lipstick was somewhat taste like chocolate! And the rest, well, still yet to try them.

Benefit’s Porefessional Primer

Published September 26, 2012 by Mira

Hey ladies! Are you one of those who are looking for a primer that will minimize your pores, mattifies your skin and smooth and light-weight? Well search no more! I found this Benefit’s Porefessional Primer. It is what you are looking for to create a flawless canvas for your make-up look. I hate looking like a lemon skin with all that big pores. I am so glad that this is such a heaven sent to minimize those huge pores. It is also so light-weight and it did not give me break-outs as I have sensitive skin. I give it 5 stars for effectivity. And 2 stars for the price. You can get it from Sephora at $48.00sgd.It is quite pricey for a 22ml tube. But overall, it is a saving grace for me. What I do is I use this for the areas where i have huge pores and oiliness. Then i use my normal Sephora primer on the rest of my face. Give it a try, you’ll be amazed by the results as I am.

Bella Box: Sample Beauty Regime in a Box (July)

Published August 16, 2012 by Mira

Hey there gals! I know, I have not blogged for quite a while now… And I got a long overdue Bella Box July issue to share to you. I have not found a time the past weeks due to my work schedule. But I am here now! Well, I already started blogging about the Bella Box since last June only and I am already about to receive my August Box (fingers crossed to blog it on time). This July Box is actually called Around the World, because they gave us samples from different parts of the world. I actually don’t try them all, but I do give them to my friends and colleagues and ask them to try and feedback about it. So far they loved all of it, (for the fact that it was free lol) and they do actually work for them. I loved this July Box because it comes with this cute lipstick pen and a neon pinkTwist-band. Plus the SK-II minis! I used the essence before so I am very happy that it includes that miracle water though just a small amount. The Jimmy Choo Perfume smells sweet! But I loved the Ralph Laurent from the June Box. It was such a nice thing to get a surprise every month from the box. Do subscribe to them for just $19.95 a month and receive those little trinkets for your beauty regime. They will deliver it to you right at your doorstep. And if they didn’t catch you, you can do a redelivery arrangement online to your most convenient time.

Product Review: Stila Custom Color Blush

Published August 9, 2012 by Mira

Hello gals! I went for a walk yesterday at Sephora and I bumped into this beautiful color blush by Stila. It is a bright pink color with some coral undertone that when you apply it on your cheeks, it really adjusts to your complexion! It is such an amazing product at $28.00sgd. It is in a compact powder form with a mirror. But doesn’t come with applicator or brush. For its compact size, it will be great if it comes with a mini blush brush so you can take it with you on the go for quick touch-ups. But overall, it is a great product! I love it!

Product Review: Kate Concealer Stick

Published July 31, 2012 by Mira

Hey gals! How are you all doing today? It’s been a week since I last blogged. I have topics piling up in my head now that needs to be shared out. I will start with my quest for the concealer that will help me cover up my blemishes. I recently had a horrible break-out after I went for a diamond peel facial after a month or so. It was the worst that I had in my life! It really freaked me out and I went for some treatment. It did show improvements, but my blemish spots are so red and obvious under foundation. Before I had this break-outs, I don’t really use concealer at all, because my foundation was already good enough to cover my minor problem areas. But this diamond peel made my life so stressful! I don’t recommend this treatment if you are someone who works al-fresco. Because diamond peel makes your skin more sensitive and more susceptible to break-outs. So I took refuge under a good concealer. I found Kate Concealer Stick at my nearest drugstore. I chose stick concealer because it provides more coverage and more hold. I tried cream and liquid concealers before. Cream concealers are best for pigmentations and redness. Liquid concealers are more for under eye areas. And stick concealer are best for blemish or acne coverage. I tried to swatch all the concealers in the shop and the one that meet my expectations was this Kate Concealer Stick. It is a lower end brand of Kanebo. Their products were also nothing below Revlon or L’oreal nor Maybeline. Kate is not as well known yet, but trust me, their products are really good! I am also using their eyebrow mascara. And boy, it is so good!

I chose Natural Beige for myself.

Choose the concealer that best suits your needs. Don’t just buy because of the brand name. You can find a lot of good stuff too in drugstore brand make-ups. Have a great day ladies. I’ll talk to you all next time. Cheers!

Oolong-Cinnamon Iced Tea
Oolong has a catechin and caffeine combination that ignites your body’s fat-burning furnace, and your metabolism is raised for up to 2 hours after drinking it. The cinnamon has properties that help your body use sugar more efficiently.

Ingredients
4 cinnamon sticks
4 tbsp loose oolong tea or 12 oolong tea bags
3 cups water

Directions
Bring the water to a boil. Turn off the heat and let the tea and cinnamon soak in the boiling water for 5 minutes. Remove the tea bags or leaves and pour the concentrated tea into a jug. Fill the rest of the jug with cool water. Put the tea in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours to chill. Then enjoy!

Give it a try today, trust me, it is awesome! Have a wonderful summer! :)
